This Privacy Policy describes how Groovypawz (“Groovypawz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit our website, create a bracelet design, place an order, or contact us.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:
- Contact and order information: name, email address, shipping address, billing-related details, order number, and communications with us.
- Design and transaction information: selected beads, bracelet configuration, actual build length, Pack ID or design reference, item prices, and order status.
- Payment-related information: Shopify processes payment details in its secure checkout. We may receive payment status, transaction references, and limited billing information, but the website does not ask you to send payment details directly to Groovypawz.
- Device and usage information: browser or device information, IP address, page interactions, referring pages, and information stored through cookies or similar technologies.
The DIY welcome-offer form stores an email address locally and sends it to Shopify only when the visitor continues to secure checkout. Unlocking the coupon is not an automatic marketing subscription.
How we use information
We use information as reasonably necessary to:
- operate the bracelet builder and preserve a design in your browser;
- review, accept, produce, fulfill, track, and support orders;
- process secure checkout through Shopify;
- respond to questions, privacy requests, returns, and product issues;
- prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and technical errors; and
- meet accounting, legal, tax, and compliance obligations.
Shopify, fulfillment, and shipping
Shopify provides checkout and payment-processing infrastructure and receives the information needed to process your transaction. Necessary order and shipping data may also be shared with production and fulfillment providers in China and with logistics providers involved in delivery to the United States. Depending on the shipment, tracking may identify SW for an earlier stage and USPS for final delivery.
We limit these disclosures to information reasonably needed for payment, production, delivery, support, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
International processing
Because products are fulfilled from China and delivered to customers in the United States, personal information needed for order production and delivery may be processed in China, the United States, and other locations used by Shopify or logistics providers. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.
Cookies and local storage
The website may use cookies and browser storage, including localStorage, to remember language settings, preserve a bracelet design, hold a 24-hour welcome-offer email and expiry, maintain website functions, understand performance, and support security. You can control cookies through browser settings and clear local storage from your browser. Blocking or clearing these technologies may remove a saved design or offer or prevent parts of the site from working as intended.
Welcome-offer email
The email entered to unlock PACK30 is used to prefill Shopify Checkout and remains on the device until the offer expires or browser data is cleared. It does not enroll the visitor in recurring marketing. If we add marketing communications later, we will request the consent required by applicable law and provide an unsubscribe method.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including order support, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information, but no website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection, or to withdraw consent. To make a request, email us and describe the request. We may need to verify your identity before acting and may retain information where legally permitted or required.
Children
Groovypawz is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
